linganaLABS

Build the evidence behind your hiring AI.

Independent audits of AI hiring tools. You get evidence that supports your customers’ compliance work, reduces risk in your product, and gives clients assurance they can verify.

Why vendors get audited

Employers using your tool carry their own legal duties, and they look to you for independent evidence. An audit helps you meet that demand.

Support customer compliance

Give customers independent findings and documentation they can use as they work toward requirements like NYC Local Law 144 and Colorado’s transparency rules.

Reduce risk

Find fairness, validity, and documentation gaps before customers, candidates, or regulators do, with a clear roadmap of what to address.

Assure your clients

Show customers an independent, verifiable record of what was audited and when, through the Lingana Audited seal.

An audit supports compliance and risk management. It is not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance.

Ways to work with us

We offer several ways to work together. On a scoping call, we’ll discuss your tool, the evidence you already have, and the questions you need answered, then recommend a scope that fits.

01

Audit Readiness Review

Best for: Vendors preparing for an audit, or unsure their evidence is sufficient.

We review intended use, data and demographic coverage, existing studies, and gaps that could limit an audit.

You receive

A readiness summary, prioritized evidence gaps, and a recommended scope.

02

Fairness & Bias Audit

Best for: Vendors who need an independent look at how their tool’s scores or selections differ across groups.

An independent analysis of scores, rankings, or selection outcomes: subgroup and intersectional comparisons, impact ratios, score distributions and thresholds, and the limits of sample size and missing data.

You receive

A full audit report, risk and recommendations roadmap, and findings debrief.

03

Fairness, Validity & Integrity Review

Best for: Vendors who want the full picture: fairness, plus evidence the tool measures what it claims.

Includes the fairness analysis from the Fairness & Bias Audit, plus evidence for what the tool claims to measure, rubrics and weightings, AI-human rater agreement, and transparency and oversight. Risks and controls are brought together in a Bowtie analysis.

You receive

A full audit report, risk and recommendations roadmap, and findings debrief.

04

Annual Re-audit

Best for: Vendors with a completed audit, kept current as the product changes.

We revisit the earlier findings against new models, scoring changes, and added uses, then update the report. Scheduled each year, in step with the seal’s 12-month validity.

You receive

An updated audit report, risk and recommendations roadmap, and debrief showing what has changed since the last audit.

Why psychology matters

Hiring technology makes claims about people: their skills, abilities, behavior, or suitability for a role. Bias testing can show whether outcomes differ across groups, but it does not show whether those claims are supported or job-relevant. Evaluating that takes an understanding of assessment and the evidence needed to support its use.

Findings your team can use

Your report helps product, assessment, and commercial teams see what the evidence supports and where further work is needed. We explain what was examined and for which product version, how analyses were done, which conclusions are supported, and what we recommend. We separate product-level findings from questions that depend on a customer’s jobs, configuration, or candidates.

What we’ll ask you for

Exact requirements are set on the scoping call, but vendors usually bring:

  • Intended use. The roles, populations, and decisions the tool supports.
  • Documentation. How the tool scores or ranks, plus any existing validation or bias studies.
  • Outcome data. Scores or selection results, with demographic information where it exists and can lawfully be used.
  • A technical contact who can answer questions as we work.

Confidentiality comes first. We handle your information discreetly and agree on confidentiality and data handling before you share anything sensitive.

How it works

1

Discuss your product

Intended use, your questions, and the evidence available.

2

Agree the scope

Analyses, inputs, deliverables, fees, and timeline.

3

Review the evidence

We do the agreed work and resolve questions with your team.

4

Discuss findings and recommendations

We explain the results, including any fairness, bias, or validity concerns, and recommend what to address.

5

Receive your report, roadmap and seal

A full audit report, risk and recommendations roadmap, and, where applicable, a verifiable seal for the audited tool version.

Timing

Most audits take about 3–4 weeks.

Timing depends on project size, data readiness, and access to documentation. We confirm the schedule during scoping.

Keeping the audit current

Reassess when the product changes.

A new model, scoring change, or use may warrant a follow-up review or scheduled reassessment. Follow-up work is scoped independently.

Public verification

Show customers the result

The audit gives you a clearer, evidence-based view of your tool, so you can move forward with greater confidence. The Lingana Audited seal gives customers and stakeholders something independent they can verify, with a public record for the specific version reviewed.

  • Product and version. The public record identifies exactly what the audit covered.
  • Audit date. Customers can see when the audit was completed and the seal’s 12-month validity period.
  • Unique verification ID. Each seal links to a record that can be checked online.
  • Clear boundaries. The seal confirms that an audit took place. It is not a guarantee of legal compliance.
